Bhadraji Mahinda Jayathilaka writes melodies and lyrics for his English and Sinhala songs and he dose a one man show of his songs, comedy and art. He came to USA in 1973 and holds a BSC in Communications and Public Relations and a MA in Television Production and Cinematography. Bhadraji helped in introducing the first TV station (now ITN) to Sri Lanka and worked as a consultant and producer for ITN and SLRC (Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation). He has written many novels, short stories, and plays (for radio, stage and television) in English and Sinhala and has directed several of his English plays for audiences in California. Bhadraji won numerous awards for his art and writing. Most recently he won the prestigious D.R. Wijewardana Award for Literature in Sri Lanka. He has held the post of chairman of the Hemet San Jacinto Valley Writers' Guild and teaches Art Media at Mt. San Jacinto Collage..
