| Sherwin & The Tempo
Sherwin Jaya formed this band in 1998 with myself playing Bass & percussion programming, Shehan Jaya on Guitar, Shariz on Drums, Janaka Jayasena on Guitar, Sherry on Vocals and Deepthi playing Keyboards. We have been performing at various Gala dinner dances and outdoor functions since then. Deepthi recently resigned from the band because him being a Doctor, it's difficult to depend on his attendance some nights. That leaves a vacancy for a Keyboardist with this band. So if you are good (I mean damn good......just kidding) with the keys and lives in the area (Los Angeles), please contact one of us ASAP. Following songs were recorded while practicing at Sherwin's house.
Update** (10 June 2001) New band members are Sherwin Jaya [ Vocals, rhythm guitar], Shehan Jaya [Vocals, guitar, keyboard], Mano Cabral [Keyboards, vocals] Roshan Serasinghe [Drums], Janaka Jayasena [guitar], Brendan Ingram [Vocals] and Dhammika Jayasinghe [Bass, percussion programming].
